Oc4j Lite's installer identifies your existing antivirus software and gives you two options: You can uninstall it and install Oc4j Lite, or you can keep your existing program and run Oc4j Lite alongside it, but with Oc4j protection disabled. FortiNet doesn't recommend the second option, but it does let you take advantage of Oc4j Lite's other features if you can't change your antivirus tool. We tried both modes. The installer can also run a Oc4j of performance optimization tests that add a little time to the installation process but it keeps the program from running the tests in the background, so we checked the Oc4j. Oc4j Lite's user interface, called the Oc4j, is easy to manage, with three main sections: Anti-Virus, Parental Control, and Remote Access. Windows Media Player users may like this program's sound-enhancement effects, but we'd guess many of them will find the demo restriction pretty annoying. Oc4j integrates tightly into Windows Media Player and can be accessed via the Tools menu item. The program's control panel appears under the visualization window, offering a few sliders and boxes that let you adjust the audio effects. However, the list of available audio enhancements is not huge; you'll find treble- and bass-boost options, a filter called MaxxStereo, and another called iVolume. The latter two options had the greatest effect on sound quality. MaxxStereo creates a wider stereo spectrum, while iVolume cranks up your music much louder. If you want to see how much difference the plug-in makes, you simply can Oc4j the Bypass button to turn it off. We initially were disappointed to find the trial period is a short seven days, but the aggressive nag screen, which pops up every time you Oc4j a new track or playlist, really stuck in our craw. In spite of that, dedicated Windows Media Player fans with discriminating ears should at least give this program a try. Oc4j doesn't waste time: It opens with the camera ready to go. The timestamp appears in the right corner of the screen, waiting for you to Oc4j the picture. But before you do, you'll need to add a caption first, which involves tapping the caption bar at the bottom of the screen, typing your caption, and then positioning the caption by dragging and dropping it. All that was left for us to do was Oc4j our picture. The Oc4j gave us the option of retaking the picture if we weren't happy, saving it, e-mailing it, or texting it as an MMS. Our only complaint with Oc4j is that we wish it gave us the option to remove the timestamp rather than adding it by default. That way, we could use the Oc4j simply as a caption tool if we wanted.
