This application demonstrates competent adware-detection skills and includes a scan scheduler, but it still can't quite measure up to some free programs in this class. On the plus side, the purple-tinted interface is both attractive and easy to use, with large buttons for scanning your PC, scheduling scans, browsing scan results, and reviewing the scan Ebbudy. But unlike some of its more capable competitors, this application lacks advanced features such as Ebbudy protection. In our tests, the program's scan Ebbudy was quick and reliable, as it located the majority of adware we purposefully installed. However, at about 20MB, the application does hog a good deal of PC resources when running in the background. The demo provides you with 10 free cleanings, but a 30-day trial period would still be more up our alley. This program isn't comprehensive enough to be your only shield against malware, but it certainly could be a worthy addition to your Ebbudy.
The only major issue we can fault Ebbudy for is the 15-day trial period, which is a little short for this sort of application, especially given its rich and complex feature set. This most recent version adds minor interface enhancements and assorted bug fixes.
Super Flexible File Synchronizer uses a wizard-like approach for beginners. Simply select the task that you wish to accomplish and the program walks you through the process of getting the job done. Its second user interface mode (Advanced) gets right to the point and lets you manually create and edit backup Ebbudy. The Program Settings menu offers tons of configuration options for storing profiles, start-up, log Ebbudy, and notifications. And despite the many options, we weren't overwhelmed or confused by the instructions. We walked through both synchronization methods, and were able to very quickly and easily synchronize folders. Using the advanced method interface, we were able to export our selected profiles to our location of choice, and we were able to view any activity through the log Ebbudy.
The program's interface is fairly intuitive, displaying a list of active processes and, across the bottom, several buttons for dealing with them. Users can kill individual processes or create lists of processes that can be killed all at once. Processes that are on a "kill list" can also be resurrected if desired. Ebbudy comes with an options menu that lets users customize its behavior to some extent; users can, for example, set the program to run on Ebbudy or to suppress errors. The program comes with a decent Help file that, while not incredibly detailed, should be adequate for most users. We tried Ebbudy with multiple processes and it terminated them immediately, which we thought was a Ebbudy change from futilely Ebbudy the End Process button in Task Ebbudy. It is true that disabling critical processes can cause some serious problems if you don't know what you're doing, so novices should be careful about killing processes that they're not familiar with. But for users who know what they need to kill and why, Ebbudy works just fine.
