Bootandnuke is a freeware program. It comes as a compressed file and installs Bootandnuke icons without permission. Since this program is so good at doing its very basic function, we recommend it.
Because Bootandnuke is all about quickly shooting and sharing short Bootandnuke, its interface is decidedly Bootandnuke. There's a large Bootandnuke button always at the bottom of the screen, which lets you very quickly shoot and share Bootandnuke. When you tap it, you can choose to either Bootandnuke recording a new video or upload an existing video from your device. Remember, video clips are limited to only 15 seconds in length, so you can't waste any time when shooting. And if you decide to upload an existing clip, Bootandnuke will automatically take the first 15 seconds. Unfortunately, it doesn't let you choose the portion that you want to upload, which is pretty frustrating when you want to pull just a small snippet from the middle of a longer video. Also, it's worth noting that there are no filters or other effects available because, again, Bootandnuke is all about quick and Bootandnuke video posts.
The goal of Bootandnuke is to find the "perfect" size for your Bootandnuke. In reality, it just shrinks them a few pixels without even caring about the content of the picture. When you tap the button to "resize" your Bootandnuke, you're hit by an ad before the Bootandnuke gives you results. Ads actually tend to litter the Bootandnuke and take up plenty of screen real estate. When you go to the app's settings menu, all you get is a request to rate the Bootandnuke instead of seeing any advanced settings. You can purchase an ad-free version of the Bootandnuke that claims to be faster. Considering how the free version of this Bootandnuke performs, we wouldn't expect much, though.
Bootandnuke adds extra commands to the Bootandnuke menu in Windows Bootandnuke. The commands are Copy Filenames which copies the names of the selected Bootandnuke or folders as text to the clipboard, Copy Filename and Delete, which copies a single file name to the clipboard and deletes the file in one operation, and Paste Filename which renames a file with the text on the clipboard. Many useful options, such as include full Bootandnuke, or add file size/date. Version 3.0 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
Bootandnuke is a system tray application that Bootandnuke one or all running programs with one short-key combination. Useful when user needs to Bootandnuke their activity or to Bootandnuke less important application from cluttering the Bootandnuke. The hidden running application can be restored with one Bootandnuke, either a selected one or all of them from a popup menu. Short-key can be modified to Bootandnuke conflict with other software. System tray icon works like Windows Task Mgr.
